Police on Thursday arrested one criminal with a sharp edged weapon in Gharota area here in city outskirts.
Police said that police team led by Station House Officer, Police Station Gharota, Inspector Khyatimaan Khajuria while on naka duty at Kanger Talab rounded up a suspect namely Farman Ali of Keran Nala, Tehsil District Jammu who was coming from Jammu on motorcycle.
On search, spring actuated knife was recovered from his illegal possession.
A case has been registered and investigation started, police said.
